Abstract
The paper presents a review of existing decision support systems relevant to the practitioners in sales and engineering phases in High variety low volume (HVLV) projects. The data for the analysis is gathered with systematic literature review. The analysis highlights that problems arise when the HVLV artifact is large, consisting of multiple systems and technologies, creating the need to elaborate meta-modeling techniques to enable support for very complex and volatile decision-making during sales and engineering phases.
